Reese Brantmeier, Remember The Name

NCAA Tennis Robberies

Reese Brantmeier, one of UNC’s top ranked women’s tennis player, made news recently after filing a federal lawsuit against the NCAA.

The reason? Well, the NCAA denied her of earning cash prizes from pro tournaments that she has been competing in since around the age of 14.

..seriously @NCAATennis? What kind of rule is this?

Reese has denied prize money for years just to stay eligible and compete at UNC. And you know what the crazy part is?

NCAA basketball and football athletes are already making hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars off their name, image, and likeness (NIL) already — legally.

Fighting The Good Fight

Matt Futterman of The Athletic cited that Brantmeier isn’t even fighting to recoup the money she gave up. She’s fighting for the rule to change so other collegiate athletes, across tennis, swimming, gymnastics and more, can win cash prizes.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED??

Wet Miami ⛈️

Tumbling Seeds, No Safe Leads

Just like your memecoin portfolio after a surprise Elon tweet, the Miami Open brackets are toast! Kinda like your March Madness bracket.

So who’s getting wrecked? Big names like Rune, Tsitsipas, Fritz and Rublev packed their rackets earlier than expected and the only safe picks seem to be Alcaraz, Sinner — and maybe Chris Eubanks? The comeback win against Evans in the tiebreaker tells me one thing.. he got ice in his veins!! 🥶🥶🥶

Signature Moves & Grooves

Signature celebrations — that’s what tennis needs. Everyone in the world knows what Lebron & Steph Curry does after a dagger on the court. And We had the slightest glimpse of this when Ben Shelton dialed it in for us at the U.S. Open. Is this the best one?

@Carlos @Jannik @Iga @Coco do you have something for us??
